LL.B. (Hons)

The Law degree of University of London is of international standing. Over the last 100 years, the LL.B. has provided the first step on a career route for thousands of practicing lawyers within the Commonwealth and around the world. As a general rule, the external LL.B. degree is not accepted for the purpose of practicising in Singapore after 1996 notwithstanding the fact that many practising lawyers in Singapore are holders of the same external degree. However, it is highly recognised globally and allows one to practice in the UK, Australia, Malaysia and other parts of the world.

This Course would interest:
  • Individuals who wish to practice as Advocates and Solicitors, other than in Singapore (by continuing their studies to complete the LL.B. degree);
  • Court clerks, police officers, legal secretaries who require additional knowledge or qualifications for purposes of career advancements;
