Below are some of the questions generally asked, and our answers!
1. Are you a registered Institute?
Yes. ITC which was established in 1968 is registered with the Ministry of Education (Singapore). We are also a recognised centre for the University of London International Programmes.
2. How long have you been running the International Programmes? Have you got a track record of successful results?
ITC, in collaboration with Kemayan ATC (Malaysia) has been running the University of London International Programmes since 1988. To date, our track record in terms of both passing and scoring rates is unsurpassed by any similar institution in the world.
3. How are your fees, compared to other institutions offering similar programmes?
ITC offers the most extensive face to face and online lectures, tutorials and revision workshops currently available for the University of London International Programmes in Singapore. Value for money is ensured as our fees rank among the lowest of published fees available in this region.
4. How frequent are your classes held and does it suit working professionals?
ITC's specially designed International Programmes incorporating the tried, tested and successful Integrated Teaching System have taken into account the element of quality, value, flexibility without sacrificing on the number of contact hours. Our teaching hours are carefully set out to enable working professionals to study without excessive strain. In addition, our online notes and support are available to our students 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
5. Are there tutorials as well as lectures and what size are the tutorial groups?
Our Integrated Teaching System incorporates both lectures and tutorials as part of the programme and workshop. Special care is taken to harness the synergy among all teaching methods and tools. Classes are kept small (less than 35 students each) to maintain the personal touch and guidance
6. How many lecturers do you have?
We are proud of our faculty of qualified law lecturers. We have 8 full-time lecturers and 2 part-time lecturers stationed here at ITC School of Laws . We also have lecturers who support us from our collaborators at ATC Kuala Lumpur , bringing a total of 40 Full-time academics. Each department has at least 2/3 academics supporting in terms of teaching and research. This means the student benefits from the collective opinion, research and style of the large academic team.
7. Do you provide study materials as part of the tuition?
Students registered with ITC would have access to all lecture materials such as notes, seminar packs, personal study guides, law updates, charts, specially written articles and our exclusively prepared Revision Planners. The materials are designed specifically for the respective Programmes. They are the culmination of over 10 years of intensive research and has proven to be a vital ingredient of our success story.
8. Do you offer make-up classes for those who are unable to attend a particular class?
Students unable to attend any class may collect their notes from the respective lecturers. Should they encounter any difficulty in comprehending the subject matter, they may fix an appointment with the lecturers concerned for a one-to-one session to clarify their doubts.
9. For those who had missed a class, how long does it take to obtain the notes and recordings?
The notes will be given to you upon request and/or a soft copy can be emailed to you upon request as well. The recordings will be downloaded into your portable device one working day from the date in which you give it to our records manager.
10. Does ITC provide any form of scholarship, grants or loans to students?
Scholarships are awarded to outstanding students in the Bachelor of Laws or Diploma in law examinations held in May every year. While we do not provide grants, students are assisted in applying for loans through Banks (We currently have an arrangement with RHB Bank for loans to ITC students, this is of course subject to the student meeting their criteria and also subject to the Bank’s approval).
11. If I choose to opt out of the programme, am I entitled to a refund of the course fees?
Yes, our refund policy is found in the student contract.
12. Are any other fees refundable ?
The only fees that are refundable will be the course fees as per our refund policy. All other fees paid to RELC or the University of London as a general rule is not refundable but is subject to their discretion.
13. How is ITC School of Laws course fees, payable ?
According to CPE regulations, the course is payable only in instalments.
14. What about the University of London fees and Examination Fees?
These fees are all made known to the students in advance and payable in lump sum before the respective deadlines.

• The course fees to ITC can be made via cash, cheque, nets or credit card.

16. Are extracurricular activities available at ITC School of Laws?
Being a Premier Private Law School in Singapore we organize annual moot competitions for our students to be able to enhance their legal skills and research methodologies.
17. What other academic support does your Institute provide?
SASSY – Student Assistance Support System where students may approach any of our lecturers for one to one support.
SPS – Special; Project Seminars organized periodically to cover latest legal updates, trends and examination techniques.
Assisted assignments – Regular assignments that are given to students, marked and graded with comments to enable students to monitor their own progress and for us to assess their understanding.
Mock Examinations – Held quarterly where actual examination environment is simulated to prepare students for the external examinations by the University

18. Does the institute have any Quality Assurance system to monitor the academic progress and general welfare of students?
Feedback / Grievance procedures – Students may provide feedback at any time on any matter apart from the formal evaluation above and this will be reviewed by the Institute and the Academic Board
Regular meetings by Academic Board – The Board meets minimum 6 times in a year to address any academic issues that arise.

Evaluation – A Formal Evaluation is conducted twice in every academic year so that the Institute can continually monitor and maintain high standards of teaching excellence•

19. Does ITC School of Laws offer any programmmes other than Law progranmmes?
ITC School of Laws being a specialist Law school offers only Law programmes from Diploma Level to Masters level.
